Address Details (editable)

You can inform us of changes to Address changes for yourself or for your emergency contacts. Please update these details if we have incorrect information or if you have changed your details recently.

Changing Password (editable)

You can change your password in the parent portal (desktop version). Your username is your unique parent ID and cannot be changed.

Academic Reports

You will still receive a report in the post, but all your academic reports; mid-year or end of year reports, will be available for you online for each student at the school.

Attendance (editable)

Look at your child’s attendance statistics and reasons for absence, You can also let us know of your childs absence ahead of time be creating an “Absence Notification”            

Emergency Contacts (editable)

Please ensure that these are up to date, we recommend two local Emergency contacts as these contacts are used when your child may be ill but you yourself are not available for pickup.

General Details (editable)

These are the details held by the school for your child and uneditable by yourself except for the Consent section of the Details tab. Here you can change the consent details for publishing your child’s image and work samples. (details listed below)

Medical Details (editable)

Please keep us informed of your child’s current medical details. Please ensure that the General Practitioner details are up to date.

School Calendar

The School Calendar helps you keep abreast of events at the school. You should only be informed of events that are pertinent to your children’s classes (or whole school events). In the future, teachers will publish relevant information on these calendar events so that you can download extra information, flyers, forms etc. for specific events.

School Fees Account

You now have access to the current balance of your account at all times.

Library

You can view our extensive collection and put books on hold for yourself and your children, view your current borrowings and overdue items.

Student Handbooks

Student Handbooks provide more detailed information about what happens inside the classroom, our curriculum, child development and age-appropriate instruction.

Governance and Performance

Long-term Strategic Plans and annual Development Plans, guide future direction. School Performance Reports offer a summary of student and business development.

Toward the end of the General Details section of Student Details, you will find an area where you can offer consent for Images of your child or Work Samples to be used in internal publications, our website, school social media, marketing or external media sources TV, Radio, Newspapers etc.. You are welcome to offer consent for some but not all of the options listed.

We would like to share this more detailed explanation of the consent categories as the Portal website and app are limited in this area.

Photographs of students involved in activities, and work by students, are often published to enable the students to share their experiences and enable parents and others to learn a little more about life at Tarremah.  Photographs on websites are available to the whole world, to help ensure student safety, we do not link student names to photographs.

Images / School Newsletter

Clicking Yes gives consent for photographs that include the student to be published in school publications, such as the newsletter, with the understanding that the newsletter is available under the community page of our website.                                                                                                  

Images / School Social Media

Clicking Yes gives consent for photographs that include the student to be published on our School Website and in other electronic publications. (e.g. School social media)

Images / Marketing Material

Clicking Yes gives consent for photographs that include the student to be published in other publications, such as websites, reports and brochures, with the understanding that these photos may be selected from the newsletter.                                                    

Work Samples / Newsletter

Clicking Yes gives consent for samples of work by the student to be published in print publications within the School programme, such as the newsletter, with the understanding that the newsletter is available under the community page of our website. We would also seek student permission to publish their work.

Work Samples / Internet

Clicking Yes gives consent for samples of work by the student and their given name and class to be published on our and Steiner Education Australia’s webites and in other electronic publications within School programme, if he/she agrees for it to be used.  Such an image could for example be selected from the school’s newsletter.

Images / External Media

Consent to the media

Clicking Yes gives consent for the student to be photographed, filmed or interviewed, and their given name and age to be published by newspapers, radio and television in stories about education and School activities. The media may also publish the name of the school the student attends.
