Island camping

Class 7’s camp to Maria Island was a wonder – filled week of adventure and learning.  A highlight was our first overnight expedition, where we had to carry everything we needed for 2 days (including tent, sleeping bag, stove and food).

The children stayed cheerful and motivated throughout the adventure despite the sometimes challenging conditions.  Many thanks to Jonathan, Kate, Jamie, David and Sallyann for their help, good humour and strong shoulders.
